Type genus: ¤ Euzebya Kurahashi et al. 2010.
Etymology: N.L. fem. n. Euzebya, type genus of the family; suff. -aceae ending to denote a family; N.L. fem. pl. n. Euzebyaceae, the family of the genus Euzebya.
Valid publication: KURAHASHI (M.), FUKUNAGA (Y.), SAKIYAMA (Y.), HARAYAMA (S.)  and YOKOTA (A.): Euzebya tangerina gen. nov., sp. nov., a deeply branching marine actinobacterium isolated from the sea cucumber Holothuria edulis, and proposal of Euzebyaceae fam. nov., Euzebyales ord. nov. and Nitriliruptoridae subclassis nov.
